So...What Makes John Legend A Legend?
1. He had an early start in the music world. He began singing at his church choir at the age of 4 and was playing piano when he was just 7 years old. What were you doing at age 4 and 7? HUH?!
2. Legend did very well at school and as a result, he was offered admission to Harvard University and scholarships to Georgetown University and Morehouse College. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied English with an emphasis on African American literature. Dayummm. He rejected Harvard University. 3. In the early 2000s, Legend was introduced to up-and-coming hip-hop artist Kanye West, and the two musicians collaborated on one another's demo. He became the featured performer during Kanye West's School Spirit Tour. We wanna see a reunion in 2018, please and thank you.

4. Legend's debut album, 2004's Get Lifted, went platnium, thanks in part to the hit single Ordinary People, a song that he originally penned for the Black Eyed Peas. 5. In 2013, Legend married his long-term model girlfriend Chrissy Teigen. They married exactly 7 years after they first met. He wrote All of Me for Chrissy before they got married, and she stars in the music video featuring footage of their wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Literally they are couple goals.
6. John Legend's net worth is $20 million. That's pretty legendary.
7. Apart from music, Legend is involved in numerous social and charitable causes. He is a supporter of the Harlem Village Academies, a New York City organization that runs several charter schools. Actual do-gooder.

8. His Favourite music to listen to when he wants to set a romantic mood is anything by Marvin Gaye. Smooth grooves daddio.

So there you have it. John Legend is a legend, FACT. And if that's not a good enough reason to see him live, we don't know what is.
