Crucial!, the Reggae/Dub excursion from Sub-Culture, host a special evening of music by the legendary Dub Store Records, with founder Naoki Ienaga and Kitada Scorcher presenting a specially prepared, vinyl only ‘Reggae heritage showcase’, with super rare cuts and classics ranging from the early days of Ska and Rocksteady, through Roots & Dub and onwards to Dancehall, Ragga and UK Steppers.
Founded in 1993, Naoki Ienaga’s Dub Store Records has become an institution and treasure trove for Jamaican music lovers world wide. Not only do they have one of the best collections of original pressings, Dub Store work closely with legendary studios and labels such as Studio One, Jammy’s, Merritone and Solomonic and release some of the finest quality vinyl pressings of lost and unreleased Jamaican music from the last 60 years.

For their first event after the summer break, Sub-Culture are very excited to be bringing to China for the first time, Night Slug’s co-owner and one of the most exciting and individual producers of recent times – L-Vis 1990!
From starting out as a London club night and quickly morphing into one of the UK’s best dance music label’s, L-Vis 1990 and Bok Bok’s Night Slugs imprint has released some of the best club tracks of the decade, including artists such as Girl Unit, Pearson Sound, Bok Bok, Jam City, Kingdom and L-Vis himself.
